Samaas is a new delivery service that offers “top quality, gourmet,
home-cooked, regional Indian food”. While they plan to expand their
repertoire to include many more regional cuisines, they currently offer
Malvani and Bengali food. The promoters say they offer cuisine prepared
by expert home cooks from those communities, using only traditional
recipes, to keep the flavours authentic. The home cooks only start
making the food once an order comes in, so customers are requested to
allow at least two hours for delivery. Party orders (over Rs 2,000) are
delivered across the city, but must be placed a day in advance.
