Giving a tasty twist to the regular pani puri

Navras Pani Puri, the latest craze amongst foodies is available in nine different flavours of water at Marwaadi, the pure vegetarian restaurant in the city. The flavours change according to seasons from a spectrum of spice and fruit flavours. According to Ashutosh and Akash Modi, the brothers who started Marwaadi in January this year, the most popular flavours are imli, hari mirch, guava and jeera. However, Akash personally likes dhaniya the most. All flavours are prepared with natural ingredients with no artificial flavours and served ice cold.

Navras Pani Puri is 100 per cent Jain with no use of onion, garlic and potatoes. It is served with boondi soaked in spiced water as boondi tends to absorb the flavour of water and give a nice taste, unlike ragda and potatoes that tend to neutralise the flavour of water. What makes this even more interesting is the delightful display of different coloured water in transparent containers, making it a visual treat. A plate with nine puris is priced at Rs 50 (including GST) and you can try all nine flavours.

Marwaadi is running a limited time ‘All You Can Eat’ offer on this delicacy. Just pay Rs 100 per person and enjoy unlimited pani puris. The offer is available Monday to Thursday at their Powai outlet and daily at their Bhandup outlet.

Where: Marwaadi, Ground Floor, EBD-Neptune Mall (Metro), LBS Road, Bhandup (W).
